Data deletion instructions
Choose what you want to disconnect or remove from Sync Socials.
Disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or another non-YouTube account
Sign in to Connections, find the account, and select Disconnect. This stops Sync Socials from publishing through that connection. Disconnecting does not by itself delete all data already stored in your workspace.
Disconnect YouTube and remove saved channel data
In Connections, choose the YouTube channel and review the disconnect confirmation. Sync Socials removes that connection's saved channel identity, credentials, and associated performance data from the active workspace, and starts the Google revocation process. The revocation request is sent once the shared authorization can be identified and checked for newer connections. Other channels sharing the same Google authorization may also be disconnected and need reconnection.
If the authorization cannot yet be identified or Google revocation cannot be confirmed, Sync Socials retries and shows a status notice. A separate revocation record temporarily retains the encrypted credential needed for those retries. If a newer authorization is found, automatic revocation stops, its retained credential is cleared, and the newer connection is preserved. You can review or remove access yourself in Google security settings; removal there can also affect that newer connection. Your original drafts, source media, and already-published videos remain unless you separately choose to delete them. A disconnected scheduled destination is not transferred to another YouTube channel.
To remove videos already published on YouTube, use YouTube's own controls. Disconnecting Sync Socials does not delete those videos. Prior copies in backups and operational logs have separate retention; contact us about the scope and status of a deletion request.
Sync Socials uses YouTube API Services. See the Google and YouTube privacy disclosure, Google Privacy Policy, and YouTube Terms of Service.
Request deletion of your data
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Sync Socials account. Include your workspace name and whether you want to delete data for a specific YouTube channel, Facebook Page, Instagram account, other workspace data, or your entire Sync Socials account.
For a connected social account, include its channel or Page name or username so we can identify the connection. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or payment-card details. If you cannot access your account email, contact the same address for help verifying ownership.
Published content and retained records
Deleting data from Sync Socials does not remove posts already published on social platforms. Manage those posts on the platform where they were published.
Retention for backups, billing records, and legal obligations follows our Privacy Policy.
