# Sync Socials

> Sync Socials is social media planning, content creation, scheduling, and publishing software for creators, businesses, and agencies. Work in the dashboard or connect an AI agent through the hosted MCP/API.

Product facts updated September 17, 2026. Integration approval status was last confirmed September 11, 2026 and is still listed as pending:

- Live destinations: TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn personal profiles, Telegram, Discord, and Slack.
- Facebook Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts work for eligible existing connections. Meta has verified Sync Socials as a Tech Provider, but the permissions required for general new-customer access remain in App Review. Contact support before subscribing if Facebook or Instagram is essential.
- X/Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn company pages are not currently supported.
- The ChatGPT directory integration was submitted on September 11, 2026 and is in review. It is not yet approved or publicly listed in ChatGPT.

## Install for AI agents

Requires a Sync Socials account with API access and an API key generated from workspace settings. Store the key in the agent environment, never in public content.

Compatible clients must support the hosted MCP/API and its authentication. A skill provides instructions; the client's own connection and tool support still determine what it can do. Discovering or citing the public website in ChatGPT, Grok or another assistant is separate from connecting an account and operating its publishing tools.

Supported workflow: read workspace and brand context, choose or generate content, create drafts, select connected destinations, then schedule or publish when the user requests it. Generation may finish asynchronously; check status before using generated media. Platform privacy and disclosure choices apply when publishing.

## ChatGPT account linking

The submitted integration exposes 14 tools through OAuth. A workspace owner signs in to Sync Socials with their existing account and explicitly approves access to that workspace. Email sign-in authenticates the owner; the separate consent step authorizes ChatGPT. Access can be disconnected in Settings.

An existing account with API entitlement is required. Some generation features need a workspace-configured AI provider and consume that provider's allowance. Scheduling and publishing require selected destinations and applicable platform privacy/disclosure choices.

Directory approval, public availability, and conversational recommendations are decisions made by OpenAI. No placement or traffic is guaranteed.
