Who can connect X
- An active paid Growth subscription after the trial. X is excluded from the free trial.
- An X account connected through the normal X sign-in from Connections. Connecting an AI agent does not connect X.
There are five X connection attempts per workspace per month, so sign in carefully.
The allowance
- Up to 50 publish attempts per workspace per UTC calendar month, including up to 3 posts with links.
- Up to 10 attempts per UTC day per workspace.
- Each X account is also limited to 30 attempts per month and 3 per day, shared across every workspace it's connected to.
- Failed attempts count. Reconnecting or deleting the account doesn't reset usage. Media can use up the included budget before the post cap.
Connections shows the remaining allowance. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC and monthly limits on the first day of the month. Reaching a limit pauses X publishing without any overage fee.
What X accepts
- Plain text, up to four images, or one video up to 140 seconds and 50 MB.
- Captions, including hashtags, must fit 280 weighted characters. Links and emoji count differently from plain letters; the composer checks this before you post.
- Not supported: threads, long posts, animated GIFs, and X analytics.
